Biosecurity Week: get involved with the iNaturalist app

The theme of this year’s Biosecurity Week is 'Maintaining the Gains - Puritia te Aronga', which recognises the importance of tenacity in biosecurity.

Our Biosecurity Team do brilliant work facilitating control of the pest species listed in the Tasman Nelson Regional Pest Management Plan (RPMP).

You can get involved now with the iNaturalist app to capture and record pest and plants. 

What is iNaturalist

iNaturalist NZ - Mātaki Taiao is the New Zealand community inside the global iNaturalist network. 

All observations you make on iNaturalist app NZ simultaneously become part of iNaturalist.org. You get all the world's naturalists looking at your hard to identify plants and creatures and we share all of New Zealand nature with the world.
