Tasman is a big district and not all of the sportsgrounds are affected by weather in the same way.
We now ask that people refer to their own clubs for details on whether their sportsgrounds are open or closed due to bad weather.
As the clubs are best placed to know what’s going on with their own pitches, they are now playing a more proactive role in the closing and opening of their sportsgrounds, and notifying people through their own social media channels.
The Avery and Champion sportsgrounds at Saxton Field are included as Tasman District grounds.
