Environment and Regulatory Committee
This Committee oversees Council’s regulatory programmes, services, and activities and provides governance oversight of Council’s sustainable management of natural and physical resources within the Tasman Region.
Responsibilities include monitoring and enforcing Council’s Resource Management Act functions; enforcing Council’s other regulatory functions; considering and monitoring health and safety matters relating to the functions of the committee and undertaking bylaw preparation processes.
Please note: this committee was known as the Regulatory Committee prior to 15 December 2022.
