COVID-19 flexible payment options
If you are concerned about your rates or water rates bill please get in touch with us on 543 8400 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss payment options. These may include:
- Use a direct debit to spread your payments weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Your direct debit payment doesn’t need to start for up to a few months if that is what works best for your financial position - just make sure you add a start date note on your form when you complete it. Please allow processing time for us to set up your direct debit. You won’t receive any penalties if we’ve received the form. Read more about direct debits.
- Defer your rates payment for a short time if you need to, and pay the full balance along with your next rates bill or work with us to spread your remaining balance through weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payments (or some other frequency that works for you).
- Get in touch with us if your current direct debit payment isn’t working for you and you want to change frequencies or pause it for a bit.
You’ll avoid penalties for late payment as long as you’ve entered into a payment arrangement with us and are making the payments we’ve agreed on the dates we’ve agreed to.
